I actually have blog stuff to talk about! I am thrilled to report that 20 Something Bloggers has made me one of their "20SB Staff Recommends" bloggers! It's really cool to be recognized for what I'm doing here since I don't get much feedback these days. I still love all of you who are still reading, whoever you are, but I'm excited that some new people might be reading my blog because of this. And p.s. welcome to anyone who's new to my blog!

Some other stuff, for anyone who uses Google+, there's a new little icon at the bottom of blogger blog posts (it's a little +1) that you can click if you like my post! So if you read a post, even if it's in reader, go and click it and maybe that will get me more people to write for! 

Oh and it's been a while since I've asked for facebook page likes so I'm putting that out there again! I try to post stuff there and if I got a bunch of followers I might be more inclined to be interesting. My tweets go there at least...

It was made with Bailey's but ended up not tasting like it at all but was still delish. Yes, I said delish. Twice.

For anyone who doesn't know, I also have a recipe blog and I make and post recipes every Saturday. And they are guaranteed to be awesome, delicious and fairly easy to make!

Remember like two months ago when I told you all about my photo project and asked you guys for suggestions? Yeah. Well I didn't forget about it either! I will start working on this soon now that the weather is getting nicer. I was able to get a whole bunch of awesome suggestions in the 20 Something Bloggers forum so I have quite the task but I am excited to see how I do. ALSO since I have a handful more readers now, if anyone wants to leave me more ideas here or on the original post please do! 

P.S. Thank you to every one who has stuck around and everyone who's new to read my silly blog everyday. I can't tell you how flattered I am that anyone, much less people who are/were total strangers to me, enjoy what I have to say. I haven't plugged my Facebook page in a while, so now that there's new people, what the heck? Or go crazy and send me an email (also found in the sidebar though it's not a widget, just an image). It's there for you if you like any of my posts (or blog in general) SO much that you think the whole world should know about it. Okay so really it's more there so that you will help promote my blog for me for free. You can  sign up for a digg account or you can sign in with Facebook/Twitter.


Not much else but I'm thinking of re-vamping my themes again, now that I've been doing this for a few months and now know what I like and don't like. So watch or that! And I will probably mention it and announce it one Sunday once it's happened.  That's all for this week!

I just want you guys to know that, since I forgot to do this before I left work Sunday, that this post took extra work to be done and it's all so I don't let any of you down. At home my options to do Tuesday posts is to a) take a full screen shot on my PC and then crop in Paint (yuck) OR today I got my old-as-hell Mac charged up and used it to do them instead. If you don't have a Mac you have no idea what I'm talking about so just take my word for it. Anyway, now I remember why I was so eager to buy a new computer last summer when my old PC died (I killed it actually) and all I had was my G4 Powerbook (they stopped making Powerbooks). In short, my new Lenovo ThinkPad was a worthy investment. Moving along.

Now in Tumblr world, I don't have anyone new you should be following so I'm just going to show off that I made this "screen-shot-scene" and it's been reblogged and "liked" all over the place. There's nothing like piles of useless emails from Tumblr to make you feel poplular. Oh and if you wanted to find me on Tumblr, since I've never actually posted it on here, this is me. It's kind of like my TV Thursday posts except everyday and with less text.

I know what you're thinking. And yes, the name of my Tumblr page is almost as brilliant as the name of this blog. I don't know how I do it either.

Yesterday Was Tuesday, Today It Is Wednesday, Tomorrow Will Be Thursday

Remember last week when I preempted a promised story for a guest post? And promised to bring you one this week unless something really important comes up? I seriously was  only kidding at the time about that and planned on having a story for you but then Stacey from CAPS (parentheses) and exclamation marks! tweeted me this video and told me to blog about it. I got home and watched it on my laptop and was like what the fuck? But didn't really think it was worth a blog post. Then I watched it AGAIN and lost my shit. Anyway, watch this first, and then we can talk about it. (Also I didn't feel like drawing today, but that's besides the point.)

Holy fuck balls. How much does my brain hurt trying to comprehend this one? My first response was that this song is basically the most boring 13 year old's journal entry put to music. "Today I did nothing remotely compelling, fun fun fun fun"

I'm just going to break it down, criticism by criticism. 

1) "Gotta get to the bus stop, gotta catch my bus, I see my friends" Why did she have to go to the bus stop when she doesn't seem surprised to see her friends who are picking her up instead?

2) Why is she so excited about a) that her friends are "kicking in the front seat, sitting in the back seat" and b) which seat WILL SHE CHOOSE?!? btw, there was only one seat left? Unless she's a total bitch who's like bitch, I'm riding shotgun I don't care that you were there first.

3) She can't really sing.

4) Ok so they're all in the car. She's 13 so she either has friends who are way older or no one should actually be driving. AND the three in the back seat didn't want to actually sit in their seats and are instead sitting/standing on the edge of the car, "cruising down the highway." Hey kids! It's cool to be unsafe while riding in the car with your unlicensed friend!

5) Seriously the thing about where she's going to sit is a repeated bridge? How hard is it to decide where to sit?!? and she's already in the damn car!

6) Now some dude seemingly unrelated to the rest of the video is rapping about where he's sitting in his car? Uhhh?

Yesterday was Thursday, Today it is Friday. We we we so excited, we so excited.

Such good songwriting here. And that's really who's to blame not the creepy Rebecca Black girl (she and her friends are seriously creepy looking when they look into the camera right?). Rebecca just wanted to be a singer, (I'm not going to touch the ridiculous bio on her website), and someone thought "Why not? Who care's if we have to use computers to make her sound at all decent?"

Well that's my pointless rant. I just thought it would be fun to jump on the bandwagon, maybe get some search engine hits...

But The Fray sprinkles in fun every once in a while and doesn't barrage me with band information I don't want. Tumblr/Twitter Not-Tuesday

2nd late post in a week. Sorry to anyone if you noticed. Everyone who didn't notice, well you should pay more attention to me because, well, why wouldn't you. I've been a little off my game for the past week and will do my best to do that less or not at all. At least not twice in one week :) Also, if you notice that I have links to things that have nothing to do with seemingly anything, (such as the one above), That's just my way of taking you with me on the tangent filled journey that is my train of thought. And I thought it might add some fun for you guys!  Moving along, I bring you, this weeks: Tumblr/Twitter Tuesday.


Just like a lot of things such as blogging and other stuff I can't specifically think of right now, I'm about 5 years late of these newfangled things called podcasts. I blame it on not having an Ipod and my incorrect understanding that you could only listen to them with an Ipod. Or atleast I just never thought there was anything of quality that I would be interested in. That was until comedian Greg Behrendt tweeted about the podcast he does which I fell in love with immediately.

So much randomness, so much self-deprecation, so much hilarity. Available on iTunes of course and also here for direct download. I should warn you that there are a bunch of inside jokes now which can be confusing so I recommend going back to the beginning if you like this week's.

Mike In A Window

I don't know how I didn't know about before yesterday, but one of my favorite stand-up comedians, Mike Birbiglia, is LIVING in a Macy's storefront for a week promoting Downy's "Clean Sheet Week." Definitely the most amazing thing I've heard in a while. The only thing that's not awesome about this is that it's not happening in a city near me so I can't go knock on the glass like in an aquarium. I might even do it thrice.
