You Guys are Like Dos

Fall shows are back and so are pictures with text over them image macros (apparently) and TV Tuesday Media Monday! I forgot what it was called because at some point I changed it and I'm letting you experience my mistake instead of deleting it.  Here are the ones I have made and collected over the past few weeks. I'm sure should be a lot more but I kinda forgot about my whole image macro-ing thing.

Heart of Glass

Is there really anyone out there who is lame and Titanic-obsessed enough to buy this!?

Don't let them fool you. It is made of of glass and metal.
However, now I am contemplating a Halloween costume...

Forgot to post these yesterday :P

Spaceman Panini

I know I'm being really unoriginal by only posting these every week but I like them and haven't bothered to come up with any other ideas so.... yeah.

Something about the word "rapey" cracks me up.

That's what she said.

HAHAHA.... AskJeeves.com....

Shows That Make Me Want to Go Outside.

Last week I brought you all the shows you should be watching this Summer.

These are the shows you probably should not be watching.

Franklin and Bash
Yeah Zach Morris is in it but....?

USA Network, I think, has lost it. "It" being it's mind. They have a couple of great shows and then lose it. We don't need 12 crazy shows all at the same time. Let's pick and choose our scripts from now on, okay?

Royal Pains, returning. I just do not understand it's appeal but I guess people are watching it.

Covert Affairs, returning. I thought this show was going to be awesome and it's just not. Her character is supposed to be doing the same job Jason Bourne does... and she's just not.

Suits, premiering. Uhhhhh? I don't know maybe it will surprise me and be awesome.

Necessary Roughness, premiering. See above comment.Oh but it does have the crazy woman from Rescue Me and Max Medina so I'll have to at least give it a chance.

Also, USA Network, you are clever, we get it, let's dial down the show title word play.

What I'll Be Doing All Summer

Summer's great right? Sunny and warm. Awesome movies. Concerts. But all the TV networks are like "yeah, time for a three month vacation." I HATE it. BUT! Thank you cable network original programming! Some of my favorite shows are actually on cable networks that like to air their shows when the other ones are on hiatus.

Brand new! Looks interesting and I'm excited for it because Lea Thompson is awesome and April Nardini (Vanessa Marano) plays her switched daughter. Hopefully she doesn't ruin everything like she did on Gilmore Girls.
June 6 9PM Switched at Birth

I think this is the one I'm most excited about. Action-packed, fun, and how cute is Matt Bomer? I mean really? Also who wouldn't want to watch the new(ish) show with Kelly Kapowski? White Collar is a must-watch!
June 7 9PM White Collar

If you're not watching this show yet, you're missing out. Unless you're a dude. It's only in it's second season so you can catch up quick. They're running a marathon of season one leading up to season two's premiere so there are no excuses.
June 14 8PM Pretty Little Liars

This is another best-show-nobodys-watching. I don't even know what to say about it with out sounding repetitive, just trust me it's awesome. Especially if you're a Bruce Campbell fan.
June 23 Burn Notice

I guess Psych isn't coming back until fall but I wanted to include it in this cable network show post anyway. I don't have a start date or current promo for you, so here's the "webisode" that inspired my car's vanity plate.

That's What She Said

Today is dedicated solely to the departure of Steve Carell from my very favorite show, The Office.

Highlights from "Goodbye, Michael"
Classic Michael
She has a point.
I'm still not completely sold. He still dresses like an Easter egg.
I love that they addressed the fact that they're still being
followed around by camera's for the first time in forever...
...And that in 7 years they've never done anything with the footage.

Very touching and bittersweet but still good for some laughs. Farewell Michael Scott. You will be missed.

Now for some highlights, I was THRILLED that they brought back the Dundies one more time. Not as good as the first one but still loved it. I always wished they did a Dundies episode every year.

Loved the "Seasons of Love" (from Rent) remake for Michael.

And some of my favorite Michael scenes (out of the ones available on hulu.)

I could watch Goodbye Toby all day. Definitely Michael's best parody.

Dwight, you ignorant slut.

Poor Jim, tortured more than anyone else because he's Michael's favorite... After Ryan, that is.

Michael will go along with anything.

And like Tina Fey's character declared on 30 Rock, Steve Carell owns "That's what she said."

Naughty Naughty Kool-Aid

I've always been pretty much a non-fan of Family Guy. It's just so damn stupid so much of the time. I do like Stewie and Brian though. And I LOVE a lot of the pop culture references.

My favorite is the recurring Kool-Aid Man. This is only the first of about 5.

You know what? Fuck it. Here's some more.

Okay enough of that.

Outsourced. Pretty meh on a weekly basis. Dedrich Badger is usually pretty good though. Makes me miss The Drew Carey Show. Kinda. Let me rephrase: he makes me remember The Drew Carey Show.

I don't know how I don't talk about Archer more... probably because it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I subscribed it to on Hulu. I just started watching it this year and its a-MAZING! (If you saw the below episode you'll get that). But no really, watch it.

As a British person with British teeth, I never tire of a good British-teeth joke.

Phil Dunphy strikes again.
You saw the ad? You want both of them? I guess that makes sense if you're trying to flip one.

Okay just a couple more things:

Yay Paul Reiser is going to be back on TV, it's been WAY too long. But man did he get old. This is pretty exciting for me because a) Mad About You will probably always be my favorite show of all time and 2) ... I don't really have a two but Mad About You fans will get the reference.

Happy Endings premiered yesterday. So far I like it but I don't know if I can really recommend it or not. I'm pulling for it because a) Kim Bauer is in it and more importantly 2) Jo aka Denise from Scrubs is also in it.
