I'm Being Eaten by a Cookie Jar

Hello, hello! So I took a trip to Florida last week which you might have noticed if I was any good at posting between Monday and Friday. I really want to be, but just amn't (I know that's not a word but it should be). However I *expect* to compose a series of posts from my trip to Florida because of all the pretty pictures I took and the shenanigans I encountered. Or something. So look forward to THAT. I'm now wishing that I had taken better notes for comic strip ideas.

Moving along. I finally revised Media Monday's day icon to reflect more than just TV. I know this is very exciting for all of you. Look for it tomorrow! Oh my I am boring myself.

New recipe! I finally made cookies with the cookie cutter Kirsti sent me. So yeah its just a recipe for sugar cookies but sometimes they can suck and I will guarantee you that these are delicious!
The looked less like dinosaurs once iced brown and with an eye. I advise you ice your sugar cookies anytime you make them even if they aren't animal shaped because it makes them even better. I also like to sprinkle them with sugar to make them sparkly.

And I believe that will be all for today. Have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving!

Gold Coins Are Not a Liquid

This week, I decided to resist the urge to focus on NBC shows again and go to the other networks. There are quite a few gems outside of NBC so it's only fair.

Happy Endings, ABC (Wed, 9:30)

The Lying Game, ABCFamily (Mon 8:00); I don't really recomend this one, except to people who already watch the ABC Family shows, but any Gilmore Girls reference is worth posting.

New Girl, Fox (Tue, 9:00)

Raising Hope, Fox (Tue, 9:30)

Saw it.
Saw it (Happy Endings, btw).

Family Guy, Fox (Sun, 9:30)

So Much Pain

So here's the thing about banquet serving for weddings... when you only do it once every 4 weeks you find yourself in copious amounts of pain. Or at least a fair amount over widespread parts of your body. Including blisters on parts of your feet you wouldn't think would blister.

Okay this post has gotten kinda gross. I should probably think of something to write about before telling you what my Scrumptious Saturday recipe was... hmmm yeah I got nothing. Deal with it.

This week I made... Bailey's Cookies!
They are super good, people said so. And they're made with Bailey's so how could they not be good?

So I think that's all for today. Have a great week!

If you can't tell... It's Garfield and Jon are under the couch.

That's how I feel too.

Turtles Are Condescending

Welcome to the premiere of Media Monday! yaaaaayyyyy... Okay so as part of my revamp, I have moved TV day over here to Monday. It actually makes more sense anytime I do "this week" recap because I can then do a Sunday-Friday week, rather than Thurs-Wed one. Also if I have nothing to say that's related to TV I can include other media types in my Monday posts.

Okay, so remember how you were thinking how much you wished that Christan Slater was on tv? Me either. I gave this one a shot since Hulu suggested it to me and boy-o-boy is it crappy. Consider yourself warned.

Oh the wonderful world of online dating.
I have a turtle.

Saw this coming miles and miles and miles away. Still sad though.
He was.
I'm enjoying Happy Endings. This week we got another Scrubs [Med School] person making an appearance. Which was awesome cause I loved Drew. Maybe even more than Denise. I'm hoping he comes back regularly.
Happy Endings

Naughty Naughty Kool-Aid

I've always been pretty much a non-fan of Family Guy. It's just so damn stupid so much of the time. I do like Stewie and Brian though. And I LOVE a lot of the pop culture references.

My favorite is the recurring Kool-Aid Man. This is only the first of about 5.

You know what? Fuck it. Here's some more.

Okay enough of that.

Outsourced. Pretty meh on a weekly basis. Dedrich Badger is usually pretty good though. Makes me miss The Drew Carey Show. Kinda. Let me rephrase: he makes me remember The Drew Carey Show.

I don't know how I don't talk about Archer more... probably because it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I subscribed it to on Hulu. I just started watching it this year and its a-MAZING! (If you saw the below episode you'll get that). But no really, watch it.

As a British person with British teeth, I never tire of a good British-teeth joke.

Phil Dunphy strikes again.
You saw the ad? You want both of them? I guess that makes sense if you're trying to flip one.

Okay just a couple more things:

Yay Paul Reiser is going to be back on TV, it's been WAY too long. But man did he get old. This is pretty exciting for me because a) Mad About You will probably always be my favorite show of all time and 2) ... I don't really have a two but Mad About You fans will get the reference.

Happy Endings premiered yesterday. So far I like it but I don't know if I can really recommend it or not. I'm pulling for it because a) Kim Bauer is in it and more importantly 2) Jo aka Denise from Scrubs is also in it.

Awesome-sauce

This week in television... for me... Pretty Little Liars wrapped up the season and something ACTUALLY happened. To avoid a spoiler, I'll just say I am NOT going to miss him. Parks and Rec was more than awesome, it was awesome-sauce. I don't get why Bones and Seeley aren't together yet, now that what's-her-name is gone. Don't miss her either. I did like her when she was on that episode of House when she played a rape victim. Community was it's usual level of awesomeness. And that was about it for my shows.

I also hate when snow days are ruined by murder. That's all for today, now I'm going to go figure out what's so great about mini horses.

The Dirtiest My Blog Will Ever Be

In this week's edition of TV Thursday, some Screen Shot Scenes (I don't know what the rest of the world is calling them) I made! Yay!!!

I seriously laughed out loud at this one. I know House is a complete asshole but sometimes, so am I, and I love his sarcasm-riddled lines that's second only to mine. But you just can't anticipate the drunken immature statement, "heh heh... My head is on your vagina." Cuddy, as you can see, was less than amused.

I had no intention to ever watch Glee. But then NPH was on and I wanted to see him sing after I loved him in Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog. That episode was actually decent. The rest usually aren't. But there is usually at least one LQTM (laughing quietly to myself) moment that's worthy of quoting on one of the social media sites.
Sex, it's just like hugging, only wetter.
Gweneth, that was awesome. And ew ew ew ew ewww! Mental picture I did not need.

Regardles, like Joel McHale's character, Jeff Winger on NBC's Community, I too don't understand the appeal.
I hate Glee. I don't understand the appeal at all.

Can you tell that this post is designed to get a bunch of keyword hits? Let's hope it works!
